on the Farm

Fall is a very busy time on the farm. Harvesting crops, preparing for winter and hosting major events keeps the farm staff and voluteers  working hard.

Farm Harvest Days

  • Big Truck Night, Fri., Oct. 18th, 5-7 pm
  • Carnival Fun, Rides and Food
    • Fri., Oct. 18, 5-9 pm, Sat., Oct. 19, 11 am – 10 pm, Sun., Oct 20, 11 am – 6 pm
  • Pony Ride Experience, Sun., Oct 20, 10 am – 12:45 pm. Preregistration strongly recommended.
  • Plant Fundraiser Sale, Choose from native, non-native and houseplants. Shop at the event or click the link to pre-order for the best selection.
  • The Friends Group Tent has pumpkins and squash, White House Ornaments, ball caps and a plant sale.  All funds go to support the animals and the farm.
  • Free Admission, $10 Parking Fee per car

Farm Harvest Days are Oct. 18, 19 and 20th, with Big Truck Night on Friday Oct 18 from 5-7 pm. Saturday and Sunday choose from hands-on-games and activities including farm games, adorable farm animals, family activities, vintage apple cider press demonstration, and more. Sunday, Oct. 20, Pony Rides will be available, reservations strongly recommended. Riders can bring a bike or sport helmet if they would like to wear one.

Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday enjoy the carnival rides, games and food. Unlimited ride wristbands available for Friday evening 5-9 or Sunday 11-6. Buy in advance and save even more here.

Friends of Frying Pan Farm Park’s tent area will offer White House Ornaments, a plant fundraiser with native and non-native plants for donations, and a book drive. Book drive will accept donations for gently used adult and children’s books about farm animals, farming, history, farm life, agriculture, equestrian and cookbooks. Books will be sold in the Country Store to support the farm and animals.

 

Your support helps feed and care for the animals, the farm, and Park. More than just food and vet bills, animal’s need safe fences, productive crop fields, barns for living in, sheds for storage of tools and equipment, and well trained staff.
