Board Member

Dick Hoffmann is freelance writer and editor. His early years were spent on a farm in Northwest Iowa that would probably have passed as organic and free range – had the terms then been in use. He enjoyed volunteering with an elderly farmer while in college. With his sons, Kerry and Louis, Dick explored the woods and fields at Frying Pan Farm Park. Being at Frying Pan brings back memories of plants, animals, and equipment. Currently his dog, Penny, has a marvelous time walking him at the park. In addition to serving on the Board, Dick is a volunteer tractor driver at Frying Pan.
