Equestrian Facility

The Frying Pan Farm Park Equestrian Center is a multi-faceted equestrian training facility that is owned and operated by the Fairfax County Park Authority. It is open to the public for trailer-in schooling and private rentals. Nestled in the heart of Northern Virginia the Equestrian Center offers a variety of equestrian events, stabling and schooling options. Whether you’re looking to bring your horse to a new place to school for the day, compete in one of the FPFP horse shows or you’ve been searching for a facility to host your next equestrian event, The Frying Pan Farm Park Equestrian Center provides an exceptional facility at reasonable rates for all levels and disciplines of riders.

Indoor Riding Arena

The Indoor Arena’s riding ring measures 110′ x 235′. The footing is magnesium treated sand that is maintained for use on a daily basis. Bleacher seating accommodates up to 200 spectators. Building amenities include permanent, heated restroom facilities, a full size 25’ x 11.5’ show office or class room, state of the art sound system with the ability to broadcast to all equestrian buildings, two enclosed judge’s stands with electricity and free wifi.

Warm-Up Ring

The warm-up ring is located just outside the indoor arena. It has bluestone footing and measures 72′ x 142′.

Upper Ring

The Upper Ring measures 130’ x 266’ and has three cross country jumps built into the fence line. It has bluestone footing with excellent drainage and is maintained for use on a daily basis.  There is a portable sound system available to rent, as well as,  a designated trailer parking area adjacent to the ring. A covered judges sits just outside the ring.
 

Lower Ring

The Lower Ring measures 110’ x 250’ and has bluestone footing that is maintained for use on a daily basis. The ring has stadium lighting and is also attatched to the state of the art sound system. Two covered judges stands sit just outside the ring and the main trailer parking lot is adjacent to the lower ring.
